Six days covering Cairo, Luxor and Aswan: the Pyramids of Giza, both banks of Luxor, then Philae and the High Dam, with private guides.
A representative greets you at Cairo International Airport, handles the formalities and takes you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. The rest of the day is yours.
A full day with your private Egyptologist. The morning covers the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple; after lunch at a local restaurant you continue to the Egyptian Museum.
A transfer to Cairo Airport and the flight south. You are met in Luxor and taken straight to the East Bank for the Karnak Temple Complex — the largest religious structure ever built — and then Luxor Temple.
The morning is spent across the river: the Valley of the Kings and its painted royal tombs, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and a stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Afterwards you travel overland to Aswan.
A short boat ride out to the Temple of Philae, the island sanctuary of Isis, followed by the High Dam, which controls the flow of the Nile and supplies much of the country's power. You transfer to the airport afterwards for the flight to Cairo.
Breakfast at the hotel, then a private transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure.
