  • 2 The Great Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum

A privately guided day beginning on the Giza Plateau with the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. The afternoon is spent among the collections of the Egyptian Museum.

  • 3 Fly to Aswan and board the cruise

Breakfast, check out, and a short flight to Aswan. You are met and taken to Philae Temple, built for the goddess Isis and moved stone by stone to Agilkia Island when the dam threatened to submerge it, then on to the Aswan High Dam itself. Afterwards you board your cruise.

    • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

  • 4 Kom Ombo and Edfu

  • 5 The West Bank of Luxor

You disembark at Luxor for the West Bank. The Valley of the Kings comes first, where generations of pharaohs including Tutankhamun were buried, then the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari, and a stop at the Colossi of Memnon.
